The National Museum of Underwater Archaeology is the institution responsible for making the Spanish Underwater Cultural Heritage known to the public, promoting its conservation and, consequently, increasing its use and enjoyment.
It is worth highlighting the exhibition of the Treasure of the frigate “Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes” as well as the remains of the two Phoenician ships found in Mazarrón, the remains are arranged in display cases, with a clear didactic objective, inviting the public to participate in a game of knowledge and active participation that turns the visit to the museum into a sensitive experience through history.
