La Serena Golf, designed by the renowned golfer Manuel Piñero, is located in the municipality of Los Alcázares, occupying an area of 60 hectares on the edge of the Mar Menor. It is an eminently flat course, where the greatest difficulties for the game will be determined by the predominant easterly wind and the multiple water hazards that come into play on 16 of the 18 holes. The course, with a traditional structure, is not particularly long, although precision from the tee becomes a fundamental factor that the player must master in order to find the way to the green among a multitude of bunkers, desert areas and the aforementioned water hazards.
