“SECRET MISSIONS” Exhibition at the Civil War Refuge Museum

‘Secret Missions’ is the new exhibition organized by Cartagena Puerto de Culturas at the Civil War Refuge Museum. The interior of Concepción Hill is the setting for large dioramas of historical reenactment that explain key operations that changed the discourse of the history of World War II. From March 15 to September 29 you can visit ‘Misiones Secretas’ and enjoy guided tours and routes, family activities, dramatized visits and historical recreation missions for all audiences.

The world of espionage comes from the Imperial Service Association, an association of private collectors, highly valued on the national and international scene, which will explain the different resistances, collaboration movements, infiltration, intelligence actions, encryption, along with special operations. All of this is displayed with the highest level of detail, where more than 300 original pieces from the Second World War are on display.

During the tour, unknown aspects are revealed in each military uniform and each insignia. The exhibition is made up of maps, documentation, visas, nautical charts of submarines, listening systems, even original costumes. The galleries of the shelter look like a large film set for famous war movies.
