Cala Cortina is a beach close to the port and the city of Cartagena. Is is likely to be quite crowded given its location but its crystal clear waters and views are well worth the visit.
It is accessible from the city, just go around the port of Santa Lucia. It is a sightseeing tour, where you can enjoy the views of the natural harbour surrounded by cliffs and mountains.
The viewpoint offers incredible views of the coves and the Mediterranean Sea. It is also a car park.
In Cala Cortina there is a restaurant, called Mares Bravas, which they are experts in the preparation of rice with lobster, with a impeccable presentation and a delicious flavour.
